The Red Cottage

The Red Cottage

It’s one of the best-loved Christmas films of recent years, boasting a stellar Hollywood cast and a host of beautifully quintessential British properties.

That’s why we’ve rounded up four stunning homes that look inspired by 2006 flick The Holiday.

Unfortunately, Rosehill Cottage doesn’t exist in real life, but these lookalike properties – complete with their quaint garden paths and countryside views – definitely fit the bill.

The Red Cottage

If a sequel to The Holiday is ever made, the production team will need to look no further for a classic English cottage to film in than this gorgeous, Grade II listed period property.

Tucked away in the picturesque Hampshire village of Braishfield, this four-bedroom home boasts glimpses of idyllic countryside, which would look magnificent under a blanket of snow.

Inside, the cottage has impressive exposed beams, slatted latch doors and feature fireplaces, which are elegant reminders of the cottage’s rich heritage.
